Established in 2019, the Dickinson Foundation is a forward-thinking philanthropic organisation dedicated to ensuring all young Australians are supported to participate, develop and stay in sport.

So far, we have distributed $3,229,673.28 to 624 clubs across 41 sports with 98,437 young Australians supported to play sport, and we will keep working hard to achieve more...

What we do

We work independently, in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation and with others to provide much needed equipment, uniforms and support to volunteer and locally run community clubs.

We also support hard working individuals who share our vision.

Why sport?

Investment in sport provides a long-term return.

Sport is good for our physical and mental health, our personal wellbeing and brings our communities together.

That is why we at the Dickinson Foundation care deeply about and focus specifically on junior sport.

Participation in sport at an early age and throughout schooling years teaches kids self-esteem, confidence and goal setting.

We proudly support and work actively in:

Areas of financial disadvantage

Programs and activities that are accessible to those with a disability

Early childhood development for starters under 6 years of age

Junior sports aged 6 to 20

The trustee for The Dickinson Foundation is a private ancillary fund with Deductible Gift Recipient status which enables all donations over $2 to be tax-deductible.

Our partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation allows support and grants to be provided directly to local junior sport and community clubs without charitable status.
